Didn't the Indians do this as a way of telling you something about the trail you were on?[/quote] The word comes from the Gaelic for “heap of stones” and many can be quite beautiful. Cairns can be good things when they are done right. Properly built cairns help mark trails to keep hikers from getting lost and can endure for decades. ... Some people stack rocks like this as a form of meditation.

Give you something to do other than clean your fingernails with that sweet 3B. Mark me green with envy. It will be 2 more weeks before I get back to the Petting Zoo! ya! GWB

Don't eat them. We pick them and my bud's wife make jelly.
They should be a bunch more ready to pick in the next couple weeks.
She will do a batch early next month.
ya!

No doubt. Well, some consolation, I got in a new toy! Browning B-78, 300 H&H. and Zero'd the night vision on the Armalite 308 at 100 yds. and switched the thermal to my 300 B/O and got it dialed in. 10 Rounds @ 50 yds. ya! GWB

GWB, Someday I want to head East and come and look in your gun safe(s) just to look your firearms over. I promise to wear a bib so I won't get drool all over everything.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor
