What do you do with your back copies of Rifleman, Guns & Ammo, Hunter, Outdoor Life, Popular Mechanics and other outdoor magazines? My medical clinic gets all mine, they are in dire need most of the time. I just blank out my address and drop them off when I need to make a visit. Just for fun I put a June 1933 issue of the Rifleman in with the rest , would like to know what happened to it.

"Maybe we're all happy."
"Go to the sporting goods store. From the files, obtain form 4473. These will contain descriptions of weapons and lists of private ownership."

The ones to which I subscribe I consider to be reference material. I keep them. Yes, I do go back and reread them or search for certain topics.

I take Magazines to the nearest Veterans Hospital and old age Facility about once a year . The Vets Center , however , has a new Policy of only taking Magazines less than a year old .......so the pile I take is a lot smaller than in the past . The Vets seem to like Gun , Fishing , and Car Magazines .

I just finished skimming through 100 G& A - Guns - Rifleman - etc- from the 70's.
A lot of Elmer Keith - Askins- P.O. Ackley- etc. Found Keiths first impression of Ruger 77 ....he liked it and wrung it out pretty good.
Tried selling them here ...no interest.
Most in the recycling bin ...saved a few .

I don’t subscribe to anything anymore except Field & Stream for nostalgia. It was my favorite growing up so I have a subscription that goes to a young fella and he lets me read it.
Hopefully he gets the same thrill as I did as a kid.

I've got 30 years of American Handgunner. Initially kept them for reference, but now they need to go. I ask on line if anyone was interested & that led to finding the shipping cost to be very prohibitive.
Looks like I'm gonna have to feed the trash pick up an arm load each week.
Or....... is anybody here that's close to the greater Lexington area or south of Cinci. that wants to come & pick them up, speak to me.

Still have the sentimental ones from my childhood. Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, Boys life. 70s and 80s, along with scout handbooks and a few comic books.

Don't subscribe to any mags anymore. Everything is available online.

Take pictures of the articles that interest you, organize and file the photo's in a way you'll understand and toss out the paper copies.

Use them in the outhouse. They don't have a Sears or Monkey Wards catalogs these days, and anything beats a corn cob.
