I am a Grampa for the second time. My daughter in law just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! Gideon Red Grubb is the newest member of our family. I don't drink much any more, so I'm raising a cup of coffee to toast the little guy. Time to start looking for a deer rifle for him, I guess. Hopefully I'll still be alive and kicking on this chunk of rock when his first deer season rolls around.

the only real difference between a good tracker and a bad tracker, is observation. all the same data is present for both. The rest, is understanding what you're seeing.

Congrats! I'm 63 and my daughter is getting married in November. Son's still looking. Hope I can still walk and see when we get grand kids.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

Congratulations...being a Grandpa is a bigger deal to me than I thought it was going to be! Our Daughter in law is expecting their second child in February.

Three granddaughters here. All started school this week. Kindergarten, third grade and grad school. Every time I look at them I wonder how they got so old while I haven't aged a day?

I've got you beat Rick! Between the son and daughter, I have eight! Six girls (all beautiful!) and two boys. The oldest should get her driver's license this year. The youngest will turn 3 next month. I hope to live long enough to corrupt them all.

Four grandsons here; each one is so entirely different from the others...gonna be fun to see how they mature. The oldest starts Marine Corps basic training in January.

I did that for my youngest nephew a long time ago. 22 Savage HP and with a little help from folks on this forum I got an abused 99 buttstock and cut it down and refinished and my 6 year old nephew did the rest. The 22 HP is great gun to get your first doe. Good luck and congrats on being GrandPA
