Dirt, that’s a nice one. I been looking at one in that same configuration and about that same shape here locally. The guy wants $750 for it. I could probably talk him down a little. Am I in the right ballpark? Seems like different Smith models are all over the place in price..

Bob Bob, In truth, the pawn shops and gun shops haven't really been a great resource lately. Found a pre-lock 642 with the box for a buddy recently and a 5906 for myself that I got the box for 3 weeks later, though. It's been more collectors dumping stuff to free up some cash lately.

try the ahrends retro combat grips on that. fit my hand like a glove on K/L frames and look great. lot of different wood to choose from with those.
