It has been many years since I changed a Smith barrel. I can't remember if it has right or left hand threads. Any dis-assembly hints would be appreciated. It is a model 37 (no dash). I have gotten the barrel pin out.--Thanx

The threads are right hand, it's best to use a proper frame wrench to remove the barrel. Brownell's sells the proper nylon blocks to support the frame, I made my action wrench out of a couple pieces of oak and some carriage bolts with wing nuts. DO NOT stick a hammer handle thru the frame like some bubbasmiths do or you risk springing the frame.
