It's part of the Army and primarily provides intelligence. Do you remember all the American hostages in Lebanon back in the 70's-80's? Well this team found where they were being held and prepared plans for rescue. They found where CIA Section Chief was being held and tortured and prepared plans for rescue. But, as many of you will understand if you've ever worked with a big organization, windows of opportunity are lost with molasses-speed decision making. This book goes into the cocaine trade and snatching war criminals.
