I love me some pineapple. On pizza or most any other way.

Our standard pizza order is pineapple, pepperoni, extra sauce, on thin crispy crust. I like mine with a cold beer.

No. On a pineapple upside down cake, sure. About the only place for it I can think of

I’d give it a whirl. Charred octopus off the grill, pineapple, fresh jalapeños, a little balsamic.....

And of course I'd pay $137 for that pizza and post 19 pictures of it on the campfire. And I might just include some random pictures of skinned dogs at a meat market too. Why not eh?

I questioned it the first time I saw a hawaiian style pizza with ham and pineapple but I have to admit it does work really good together. Some things that don't seem intuitively obvious at first glance ending up tasting fantastic, you never know until you try it.

Yea or Nay?
I kinda like a little of it on mine, sometimes. Nay, we go for all the meat products and olives for taste, leave the pineapple for the ladies...and reheat and finish what is left of theirs when they go to bed. Odds on they won't touch ours so it is safe to leave it in the fridge.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

Pizza and pineapple are made for each other. Love it.

Over the years, I've gravitated to the original margarite style, as invented in Italy. I quit ordering the slab of grease that normally makes up a pepperoni pizza. We had a local place that made up a cheese and garlic pizza that was great. We'd order it with green peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and Italian sausage added. Two slices each and freeze half. But they changed cooks or something, and it went downhill.
I'd rather have a veggie pizza than one that's heavy with fat and grease. And never a "Hawaiian".
