So he’s probably going to ignore my complaint. ??

Since some of you guys have never seen it, and had no idea what we were taking about, it is not hitting everyone. How are those guys avoiding it?

Mike, I’m on a PC and I think we are Windows 10 also. Have Adblock from Chrome store. I guess if Rory is correct, and Rick is getting paid for it, it’s not going away.

Exactly the system I use. No pop ups anywhere.

I still have Windows 7 on my steam powered old laptop at home and on my wind up desk top at the shop, Chrome + adblock, and have never seen this Edge intruder. I so rarely resort to cell phone internet access that I can't recall if Edge rears its ugly head there or not.

adblock+ is better than the stratight adblock. I have no idea why there's 2 of them...??

someone, somewhere, sometime, might have clicked on a little box to allow the edge popups. My sister did that and it took me 3 weeks to purge it.

delete your cookies and browsing history and you might dump it. Ccleaner is a good free app to do that. If you install it, watch for the offer to install an antivirus for you. The bastards are always trying to slip something by like that

I think we do have the adblock +. If someone hit wrong button it was probably me. Somebody made me laugh and I spit coffee all over the keyboard. Then trying to clean it up, pushed all the wrong buttons. I'll tell my son to try Ccleaner. Does powering down at night help? I used to do that, but have gotten away from it. My son is a programmer for Raytheon, and he won't fix stuff for me anymore unless I try first, and walk him through what I did. I hope he gets a really pretty wife, so I can stay up all night pushing her buttons, trying to get her to work right!

Powering down helps keep the clutter out of memory and dumps a few performance robbers but it won't clean up the bugs. I shut my desktop down every night but just do the laptop once a week.
