Actually surprised there aren't more grass-fires caused by diesel pickups off-road during re-gen cycles.

I live in NSW...and you are correct.

Funnily enough when you arrest a drug dealer or similar you then end up paying for his legal defence and incarceration. Get him when he is driving and he will pay out of his own pocket to keep his licence.

Pretty sure coppers know this.

No doubt. I heard or read that in re-gen the temperatures are in excess of 1200 degrees F. Wouldn't take long for that to get a little fire going. You think they'd tell drivers in vehicles equipped like that (especially police) to be aware. You see a lot of LEO vehicles in grassy areas with the radar guns out.

Might be a good idea to not use cars equipped with ridiculous environmentalist pollution devices. I love it when then chickens come home to roost and liberal stupidity bites liberals in the azz.
