Hello All,
I have a stripped out TC Lobo base for the TC Contender. The screws are little flatheads and have been soaked in penetrating oil for a week. They still wont budge and I believe they are loctited on the 375 Winchester barrel. Would a soldering iron get hot enough to break the assumed Loctite? Any other suggestions?

If they are loctited a small soldering should be enough to break the loctite down and the screws should be able to be removed. Doesn’t hurt to apply a little heat and see what happens.

If that doesn't get it then I would just drill them out for 8x40 screws.

Get a brass or copper rod the size of the screw head, Heat red hot and hold on the screw. It will kill the glue.
