For those of you running the 25-06, whatcha using for powder/bullet/brass/primer combos? What's giving you the best consistency/accuracy?
Settled on the above chambering and currently in build mode as we speak.

I have been running 100gr NBT over 56.0 grs of IMR4831 in a WIN case with a CCI match primer as my primary. I have also been using a 85gr Combined Tech over 58.0grs of IMR 4831 with good results. It looks like I am going to give the TSX or Accubonds a try this year.

I've been loading the 25/06 since the mid '60's. I read in a Sierra manual many moons ago that IMR4350 was the most accurate powder they had found. I tried it and have had very good luck with about 49grs with a 120gr bullet. Velocity is generally around 3000fps (you can get more velocity with other powders) and accuracy is almost always good.

My two pet loads for my Rem Classic 25.06 are....
Nosler 110gr Accubond Rem Brass Fed 210 53.5grs RL22
Speer 120gr Spitzer Rem Brass CCI200 49grs IMR4350 or 4831 (both shoot very well in my rifle with the 120gr bullet)
i've found these combos to be both accurate and consistent and they really do a number on deer. If i had to choose just one load for my 25.06 it would be the 110gr accubond load. Mike

Thanks Guys. I have plenty of IMR 4831/4350 on the shelf. Just ordered Redding dies and R/P brass. I may be getting ahead of myself. The rifle is not even finished. Mac
