Toyota recalled the 07's to fix the pedal/floormats so I wouldn't worry about the unintended acceleration. I have an 2007 and a 2012 Camry, both have been good vehicles, I like the 07 better than the 12, less unnecessary crap in the older car. The paint and clear coat suck on both but otherwise good vehicles.

All these unintended acceleration cases have been pretty much debunked. They’re almost always an older person that swears they didn’t touch the accelerator until they decode the recorders and prove they did just that.

Geezer or geezette thinks they’re pushing on the brake pedal and the car lurches forward so they push harder. Afterward they’re the dindu nuffins of car crashes.

Several years I bought a used Infiniti I30, it had 58,000 miles on it.
These are just great cars, as good as a Toyota.
And the book said to change the trans fluid at 60K. So I got it changed, the guy used a pressure pump to get the old fluid out.
And that is a big mistake.
In 5,000 miles the transmission blew. Those transmissions should be good for 300K miles or more.
So, I wish I had left that transmission fluid alone. Speaking of Toyotas I know a guy on another forum who has a Camry with 320K on it, never has changed the trans fluid.
