Like the idea of handgun hunting.

I could make a couple of observations, however, it's a holiday and I don't want to have to put my flame suit on.

I will say this. It seems odd to me that the guy is able to get so close...with SOO little effort.

Kind of hard to comment on so little content. I mean.....it's just a bunch of animals getting shot, and there isn't much we can know beyond that. Pretty pointless video, it seems.

Commit to what? Whats your point. You got some animals getting shot and i was doing the shooting on a bunch of them as was my son. Whats your point?

Cape buff and lion hunts with a few others thrown in. You got any vids you want to ad john?

Ill throw a “commit” out there, that shot on the blue wildebeest was a 140 yard offhand shot by my son with a 8 3/8” sw 460 revolver. It was a good shot. Went 30 yards. Cape buff was put down with one swift aframe 325 gr bullet from a 454. What else would you like a commit on? All the lions were with 30 yards after tracking all day. Close to a very dangerous animal. Exciting hunts. Some more than others.

The hunts in hondo are just as yours was.

I hunted free range deer at Hondo, did you? I shot Asian buffalo in a high fence I did not hunt them.

I also shot a fellow deer in Hondo I did not hunt him.

Everything in hondo is a shoot. Call it what you will. It is what it is. Its a nice bullet test.

Been on plenty of elk shoots too. Though theyre free range. Just shot em far. Not much to it.

Are you saying that high fence shooting of animals is the same as hunting free range animals?

John im not getting baited into your bitter nonsense. What i will say is that you have lambasted people on forums for even saying their high fenced hunt was challenging all the while posting pics of your hunts and then finding out later they were fenced or even kills that had been shot with a rifle first.

I will say ive been on high fence hunts that the animals were more wary than some free range hunts.

Pretty interesting video but as you near the end you see a big Cape buffalo being shot from what looks like an elevated stand while the buffalo is clearly eating at a bale of hay. You can also make out the horns of two more buff to the right of the hay bale...Makes me think the shooter may be handicapped. One thing for sure is that its the first time I have ever seen a Cape buffalo being shot over a bay of hay...

Dont look so surprised. We were sitting the edge of a cornfield letting my son go for some plainsgame. Thats not hay. Theyre corn clipping from reaping the field. You dont look a gifthorse in the mouth for sure. But then again you already knew that jersey james. 😳😳
