Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here knows their serial # date of manufacture for these Winchester lever guns? I tried looking it up, but this one looks like an odd ball. I know it was made before '81 because its a WRA gun. The serial # doesnt coincide with anything i saw on the net, as all the ones i saw start with a BB0. This rifle has a serial #BB179XX. I also believe my grandfather bought it in 1979. Anyone here have an idea of wen it was manufactured? Thanks!
