Somewhere I heard said "I'd rather my daughter work in a whorehouse than have a son that would shoot a squirrel with a shotgun".
people have opinions for sure.
i've kilt them w/a mdl 572 fieldmaster .22 rf. (yes, it works).
and firstly with a ss 20 guage bolt action stevens. (yes, it works).
when i was ets'ing from ft. hood, one of the civilian check-out people said georgia had a lot of pretty women.
i responded that texas did too. lol.
based upon my experience a shotgun kilt squirrel and a .22rf harvested squirrel tastes exactly the same.
my silent tree dog, Trixie, would hunt during the day when i was in school, and bring the squirrel to the house.
usually, if it was fresh, i'd skin it, and Grandmom would cook it. but not everytime.
