Here’s my take:

I think the Bx-3 Mojave 8x32 is/was a “Best Buy”. They are a gem of a binocular for the $200ish I paid for them.
I found a BX-3 8x42 Pro Guide HD for a friend of mine. It was new in box...paid $259 on ebay last month....he is very happy with them. Excellent for the price!
I think the build/optical quality of the Bx-3 line is great.

When the BX-4 8x32 came out a couple years ago I was intrigued and sought one out to compare to my Bx-3 Mojave 8x32. What I noticed was cheaper build quality, higher price, less field of view....all for just a little better optical quality. Wasn’t worth the price jump to me.

Just my opinion.
