Two?!? Horrible thought. Torn between 6 creed/7 wsm or 6.5 creed/300 wsm. 223/7-08 wouldn’t suck either. Add a 6.5 prc for my 7th. Perfect 7, right?

I could get by with a .223 and a 6.5 CM (or .260, 7mm-08 or 308) but I'm glad that I don't have to.

.308 Win for general all around. Would like a 6.5 WSM for open windy plains.

......the occasional hunter wielding a hopelessly inaccurate rifle, living by the fantastical rule that this cartridge can deliver the goods, regardless of shot placement or rifle accuracy. The correct term for this is minute of ego.

6.5 Creedmoor 7mm SAUM
Shooting heavy for caliber bullets, these two would handle all my hunting on any continent.
Honorable mention to the 6.5 PRC and .338 Federal.
What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?

Loaded to 308 Win. pressure in a modern bolt action the 300 Savage would be the 7.62 Creedmoor if it wasn't already the 300 Savage. I load long seated Berger VLD's for my 700 Classic in 300 Sav. and that makes for a very modern looking cartridge.

For me??
Dont need 2.
The 6mm Remington kills critters to Midwest whitetail w ease.
70 grain bullets for coyotes/fox/cats/crows or 85-100 bullets for easy to kill deer, or maybe just an 85 to do it all.
If I were to pick just 2 it would be a 22-250 & the 6mm.

Anything smaller
223 Rem 243 Win
