With that said, for those of you that have been in the market, what fiberglass/synthetic hunting blinds do you recommend without breaking the bank? I like Redneck blinds but they're out of my price range. I'd like to have it elevated off the ground 8' as well as being insulated if possible. I'm in TN if that helps with dealer recommendations.

My neighbor camo-painted a Porta-Potti and his son killed some nice deer from it. Jerry

The handicap ones are the best. Dad and Jr can both stake out the corn pile together.

Are you placing it on your land or at a lease ? I built an 8' high 8'x8' for less than $400 ,treated material , roll roofing etc. it'll be there 50 years from now hurricane michael couldn't take it down . Use it as a camphouse spent ten days in it - cot, coffee pot, woodstove [1gal. metal can] ,shooting bench, office chair , i can watch a corn pile for days - and have and will again very soon .

Do it this way. You can make it as big or small as you want. Windows/openings exactly how you want. Put a shelf where you want. Easy to insulate. Will last a long time. Cheaper than store bought and likely more solid.

I built one on my place with Plexiglass windows with hinges at the bottom in all four walls that can be lowered quietly for shooting once a deer is in sight. Works like a charm, and a couple of cans of Sterno canned heat on metal shelves in the corners keep it warm inside on even very cold days. Jerry
