Sometime back, at least 30 years, a California resident got a rare Desert bighorn tag, hired a guide and set out on the hunt of a lifetime.
So what happened is a anti hunter decided to prevent the hunt, following the hunter and guide and blowing a air horn.
Guide decided to make a citizens arrest
During the arrest the anti got a broken nose and assorted bumps and bruises.
The hunt continued
Anti was locked in a horse trailer
Was a long hot day, a very long hot day.

They could use one of those microwave pain beam projectors. Isn't there a minefield, electrified fences, razor wire etc. there? Shouldn't need more than that ?

There is no chance they will breach anything of consequence so let them mill about for a bit and they will lose focus and wander off in to the never-never.
