I've hunted deer for around 50 years, used several calibers, but by far, most were taken with a 25-06, the past 30 years.

25-06 is the perfect deer cartridge in my opinion.

Whatever the 243 is gonna do, the 25-06 is gonna do it 300fps faster. They are both great cartridges.

While somebody might just like something better due to their own personal bias, it would extremely difficult to refute this statement.

From 0 - 450 yards, I’d have to agree.

What could be a sadder way to end a life than to die having never hunted with great dogs, good friends and your family?
