Is the Scenar a hunting bullet or just target bullet? I have been shooting NBT but I am going to change to NAB or NP or Sierra Game Kings. Then I saw the Scenar and got curious about them.I 'll be shooting them from a .308 Steyr Pro Hunter.

Search the term "Scenar" under the Deer, Big Game, or Long Range Hunting categories for the last 5 years or so. There should be lots of reading material there relating to on-game performance.

What I have not found yet is which version of 155 Scenar do people like in the 308 win.
Is the the L version or the other one?

I’ve used the standard 155 Scenar only....
308/Varget/155 Scenar is about as good as it gets.

Daughter killed a bull with the 155 scenar started at 2775 fps this fall. Worked great.

It’s the only bullet I’ve shot in a 308 in many years...it will kill anything you want to kill no problem...

Is the the L version or the other one? The "other" version and the L version are the exact same bullet. Lapua claims the L version is more consistent. Either way, go forth and kill schit.
