OP arky65 Campfire Regular A Joined: Jan 2005 Posts: 1,324 Ouachita Mtns., Ar	Does a Remington 700 SPS .223 require a specific stock, or will it fit in any Remington SA stock? I ask because I just traded into a Remington 700 SPS .223 and do not care for the Houge stock, thinking of putting it in a laminate or better composite stock. I made the mistake years ago with a Remington 788 SA for a .222 and do not wish to repeat. Thanks in advance for your input. There is a war on America and America is losing
