I toured the house of the seven gables & thought it was cool. Indeed. House has hidden stairways if I remember correctly. Autumn in New England is very scenic too.

Maine, NewHampshire and Vermont all offer full reciprocity. and are Constitutional Carry. I'd suggest enjoying the fall colors and some cool weather prior to when you get it in Texas.
