No ring marks, 2 marks mentioned are on objective tube and ocular. I have tried to show them on the pics.
I'll keep it here for a few days and then on to Ebay

I'm interested but trying to find out what type of scope this is. My brief internet research indicates that S&B only imported 1" 6x Klassic's made in Germany. The Hungarian 30mm scopes in the US did not come in through S&B. I'm going to reach out to them on Monday to make sure it can be serviced if need be. Do you have any info on this. I'm very interested - I have 2 6x and on 10x S$B;s - I;m just concerned about the Hungarian manufacturer.
thanks

The original buyer bought it in the US, I have already called them about service and ordered the lense covers when I did. I don't have the original conversation with the buyer that sold it to me but he said he had owned it 3-4 years If I recall correctly. I have another Hungarian S&B, the lenses for S&B come from HUNGARY, same quality no difference except the labor rate is lower in HUngary. I have zero concern with it made in Hungary and I have owned just a few S&B scopes. grin

If I can add to the conversation.....I own five S&B scopes with a 6th on the way. I did some research myself on the Hungaria series. From what I read, ALL the parts for the Hungary and Germany scopes are identical. The only difference between the scopes is where they are assembled. As Oldelkhunter states, the labor rate in Hungary is significantly lower than in Germany. However, the Hungary scopes are assembled under the direct supervision of S&B engineers from Germany. It's my understanding that the warranties and S&B servicing apply equally to both scopes. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a S&B Hungaria scope, based on what I've learned about them. And this 6X from Oldelkhunter is a dang good buy at $599. Good luck with your sale. The Hungaria scopes may be the best glass for the dollar on the planet.
