Nationals might be a surprise. They have great starting pitching, a very talented starting lineup, and a very deep bench. If they get past Milwaukee they will give to Dodgers all they ca n handle.

Since my Royals were a disaster again, my NL team is the Cards. Go Yadier Yadi is the GOAT

Anyone but the Yankees or Dodgers. MLB attendance is down again this year. I think it down 7 out of the last 8 years. Down @ 14% in those 8 years. Revenue is up however. But as usual.......STL sold 3.4 million

I went to my first MLB this summer while in DC. Though I'm a Giants fan, I have cheered for the Nationals and hope they make it past the Wild Card. My grandmother was a huge Dodgers fan, but I can't stand them. I think it has more to do with a few select cousins that act like they used to watch the Dodgers with my grandma. If they did, they were 3 and don't remember it.

HOCKEY season starts this week.
What is the MLB you speak of?
Geno Heretic! As a Giants fan from the time of the move west, I H A T E the Dodgers and want the Cardinals to take it all. Well, you see how much I follow MLB? I didn't even know the Yankees were still in the running. Having been born in New York City, and lived there and been a fan during the Mantle/Marris years..............I may actually watch a coupla games. I'll miss seeing Rivera close out games though, I think that was the last time I followed them. Y'all have fun with your baseball, but I have to go set up the DVR to catch all the Sharks games I can. As I am an old stick-in-the-mud, I liked the days of eight teams in each league. The teams then went quickly to the series.
This is however 2019, we have the money making playoffs. Each is a short series, and most anything can happen.
Without cable, or satellite TV, it does not look like I'll be watching any games for a while.

Be fun to see a repeat of either the 1987 or 1991 World Series but all games played outside this time! Those were memorable times in MN sports history. Since then.........not so much..... WTF...UMD Bulldogs have won NCAA Hockey Title 2 years in a row. Cheerleaders haven't been walking right since April!
