Nationals might be a surprise. They have great starting pitching, a very talented starting lineup, and a very deep bench. If they get past Milwaukee they will give to Dodgers all they ca n handle.

I went to my first MLB this summer while in DC. Though I'm a Giants fan, I have cheered for the Nationals and hope they make it past the Wild Card. My grandmother was a huge Dodgers fan, but I can't stand them. I think it has more to do with a few select cousins that act like they used to watch the Dodgers with my grandma. If they did, they were 3 and don't remember it.

Heretic! smirk

As a Giants fan from the time of the move west, I H A T E the Dodgers and want the Cardinals to take it all.

Well, you see how much I follow MLB? I didn't even know the Yankees were still in the running.

Having been born in New York City, and lived there and been a fan during the Mantle/Marris years..............I may actually watch a coupla games. I'll miss seeing Rivera close out games though, I think that was the last time I followed them.

Y'all have fun with your baseball, but I have to go set up the DVR to catch all the Sharks games I can.

As I am an old stick-in-the-mud, I liked the days of eight teams in each league. The teams then went quickly to the series.

This is however 2019, we have the money making playoffs. Each is a short series, and most anything can happen.

Without cable, or satellite TV, it does not look like I'll be watching any games for a while.
