Duluth Fire Hose cargo large enough to wear something under them if necessary.

I hit the clearance sales at the end of the season most all my hunting clothes. I picked up 10 pair of a really good looking camo pattern in my size for $6. each last Febuary. They were six pocket cotton cargo pants too. Goodwill has some great deals on stuff sometimes too.
My top and bottom patterns don't always match too well tho! Oh well.... at that price I can cut the legs off and have a pair of shorts if it gets too hot.

I wear comfortable pants and put hunting chaps over them. The chaps are windproof, water repellent and are easily removed if I come inside for any reason.

I've really enjoyed the midwayusa camo they've come out with the past few years. Nice comfortable stuff, good sales on it to from time to time. I've got a couple pair of the All purpose camo pants, really like them.

I’ve had a pair of these for about 5 years and they’re awesome. Tough as nails, comfortable, versatile. First Lite Corrugate

And you can get them insulated.

Under Armor small game/hiker pants. Really good cut for hunting and really good pockets. I have 2 pair, and they are my standard walking the dogs in the forest pants. I think they are 100 bucks, but they are worth it. My wife even has a pair.

Terry, do they stand up to briars and other bad things that can rip fabric?

I just use Carhartt Force, cargo pants. Plenty of pockets, sheds water a bit, plenty of room for the long handles if it gets cold.

Dickies also makes a heavy canvas/firehose work pant - at a budget price. I love mine. If you can spend more, get the Duluth Fire Hose.
Duluth stuff is on sale now. It's their 30th anniversary.

I wear a good pair of insulated jeans. Either quilted liner or fleece.
I wear a pair of bibs on top of that for the pocket space.

M*A*S*H. Funny episode. “I’m speaking to you from inside a real big empty.” Excellent! Good work. I was a kid seeing reruns in the early 80’s, but the early ones with Frank, Trapper, & Henry were gems...Colonel Flag too. To stay on the point of the thread, I like Kuiu attack pants except for the price...and they are susceptible to snags. Consequently, my everyday outdoor pants are wrangler 95% nylon cargo pants...they have a couple different models but the 95% nylon is what to look for. Lightweight and quick dry. They are susceptible to snags too but are cheaper than Kuiu. I’m interested in the FL Corrugate pants EFW mentioned earlier...especially if they hold up in rough conditions.

Hunting pants without insulation, for me are BDU's or ACU's. ! I like the air force camo pants with the phone pocket inside, the cargo pocket. Both have double knees and butts. I get good wear from them, cheap and comfortable!
