The larger question is "why would the Dems eliminate their best prospect?"
Gabbard is clearly the only Dem candidate even close to presenting a coherent and likable platform. She is a "she" and that would also run well with the progressives. She has at least some level of proven governing ability. She doesn't usually make absurd statements to the press, nor does she have a lot of known foolish baggage. What's up with throwing her under the bus????

Well.....the polls are the same ones that had the 2016 election completely backwards....the MSM is the same....and their messaging hasn't changed one bit....Supposedly ALL the candidates running would beat Trump if the elections were held today........Anybody believe that? How bout the dems choose a candidate this month and we bump the election up a year and hold it next month??? Forget the impeachment talk and just hold a special election.....
