All,
What are you all wearing for Blaze orange vests? I'm in the market for a new vest and I'm tired of the plain jane orange vest.
I really would like something similar to an upland vest with a few pockets and cartridge loops would be a nice bonus also.
Thanks for you responses in advance!

I moved to Kuiu and Kings soft shell vests. If you want something other than standard pockets and stuff look at the Ballistic vest from Sitka.

If legal, I understand neon pink is more visible than blaze orange. It is what I use for my flagging tape, and it definitely is!

Gamehide makes great hunting clothing at reasonable prices. They have a selection of nice vests.

I bought one of the Cabela's fleece vests. Zip up big Bello's pockets plus hand warmer pockets

I wear one of these in the dark green but if I hunted an area requiring orange I'd order one. Lots of pockets and a small pack on the back. I was first introduced to them when I was surveying for the Forest Service. Liked them so well I started hunting with them. vest

I like that vest but an XL isn't available in Orange.

For over a decade I’ve had a fleece vest from Cabela’s that has a huge pocket in the back making it a backpack essentially. It has pockets in the sides for hand warmers and is nicely put together all the way around.
The sort of thing they probably don’t sell anymore 😡 ?

+1 I have one of those Cabela's fleece vests too and like it very much. Been using it for 10 or 15 years.
I used to have a blaze orange felt Fedora I got from them but after a few years it bleached out to a kind of peach color. I wish they still sold those. I'd buy several.

A plain Jane $6 vest from Sportsmans that fits over anything and everything. I have good pockets in whatever I'm wearing under it. Idaho doesn't require orange so if you prefer pink or paisley, that's fine, too. I've used the vest as a signal so my partners can find me. I just get a long stick and put it up in a tree while I'm sitting under it and I've hung it on a sagebrush while I'm in the brush cleaning a deer or elk.

I buy the simple, lightweight (nylon?) mesh vest that run about $5-6. My hunting jacket underneath has all the pockets a hunter could want. The last vest lasted about 10 years and it can easily be scrunched up and shoved in a jacket pocket while taking up less room than a glove and it weighs virtually nothing.

I personally wear a simple cheap vest Me too. I picked up a fleece vest with two big pockets with snaps from Gander Mountain 15+ years ago and it's still going strong. I dont mind spending money for good gear, but cant see spending alot of money on a orange vest.
