Thanks Swifty, I was unaware of that.
Hopefully, RCBS customer service will soon be back to normal. Especially since I managed to bend a decapping stem in my 41 mag resizer die last night. I have used a clipped to length finish nail until I could get a new pin in the past. If you bend one it is easy to replace until the mail comes bearings out of u joints make great decapping pins That’s good to know! Thanks for the info !

Top shelf. I broke a Rock Chucker, they replaced it. Would you care to explain just how you were able to do that?

I broke a Rock Chucker... DAMN... Note to self... Never arm wresting Viking
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

This has been several years ago....that I needed anything from RCBS... their stuff holds up well..
but when I called, I didn't get them direct like before...
they were bought by some outfit, so you now have to go thru some central answering sort of service..
they evaluate the call, not knowing a thing about the products, and then will finally route you over to RCBS...
more corporate " centralized control" of everything in microscopic fashion.... typical of being ran by accountants..who spending a dollar to count a dime makes sense...
get past that hurdle tho, RCBS was still Johnny on the Spot to take care of my needs..
Glad we didn't lose that when they were taken over by some corporation based Lord knows where...
I'm a RCBS and Lee satisfied customer... both great companies...

I recently tried to buy a replacement motor for my ancient RCBS vibratory case cleaner. Contacted them by email with the request. They wouldn't sell me one. They sent me one free of charge. I had the same experience about ten years ago. I should have mentioned.....the reason I tried to buy the part, is because I was not the original owner. I told them as much, but they sent it free anyway. That was only a couple years ago.

Glad to hear. Six months or so ago I had some dies that needed some stems. Sent an email, it went through. No response at all, no parts in the mail. Figured maybe they stopped replacing things. Guess I’ll have to call next time

I have used a clipped to length finish nail until I could get a new pin in the past. If you bend one it is easy to replace until the mail comes I keep lots of decapping pins around. Some small, some large, and some with heads on them. But this time I bent the threaded rod. But, the recapping rod is interchangeable between 327 dies and 41 dies, so I was able to finish the job.

For what it is worth I cannot fault RCBS customer service.
These are my opinions, feel free to disagree.

I called them once & got put on hold. Got tired of waiting & hung up. Ten minutes later I got a call from them asking how they could help.
They've sent me parts twice that "I" broke, one was just dumb on my part, the other I broke also but that part was a bit flimsy. I mentioned the flimsy part & they not only sent a replacement, but also a spare. I did of course, offer to pay both times. They wouldn't hear of it.
I've dealt with quite a few manufacturers of shooting sports items over the last 45 years & until memory serves me better, RCBS has been the best of them all.
