They've really picked up their game ever since Ilhan Omar became a Cheerleader.

Now, that's not very nice. It's actually a Gopher/ Badger kinda thing.

Unlike last year, when they had to beat both Rutgers and Wisconsin in the last two games to finish 6-6 and qualify for a bowl game, the Gophers have already qualified after only 6 games. They should win at least 8, possibly as many as 10 games this year.

Yeah, that snake oil salesman P.J.Fleck just might end up being a good coach after all. ROW THE BOAT!

Just nice to see them not be the laughing stock of the Big Can't Count for a change. They still have to play some tougher teams though. Fleck's had success wherever he's coached. Maybe he's gonna take them to a little higher level bowl game this year. Appearances in the lower level bowls don't really do much to gain relevance for the program.

Minnesota should beat Rutgers, Maryland and Northwestern. I see Iowa as being 50-50. I don't expect them to beat Penn State or Ohio State, although there is a reasonable chance. So at least 9-3, maybe 10-2. Quite a change over last year!

In true Mn fashion, they’ll choke in the big game or playoff.

I would like them if it wasn't for Fleck...he's a sweater vest/tie wearing douche. Too much self promoting...
I wouldn't get too excited yet either.... Their 6 wins are: SD State Fresno State (in OT) GA Southern (by 3 pts) Purdue (1-3) Illinois (2-3 and BAD) Nebraska (4-3)
They could easily lose their final 4 games of the season when they play someone above 500! Could beat Northwestern though. Sorry...dang that was a negative post.

Even Nevada beat Perdue, so that's no great victory.

Their 6 wins in 6 games in equals their total for all 12 games last year. I don't think they're going to be in the playoffs, but the program is going in the right direction, the coach's fashion sense notwithstanding.
