She should have plugged him when he came over that counter for the gun; I suspect it would have been justifiable. Especially since he was wearing an Alabama hat.
Toward the end of the video you can see what looks like the woman finally racking the slide back on the robber's gun and that's when he decides he really doesn't want the gun back as much as he previously thought he did and hightailed it out of there.
