Three 10-shot groups shot a 50 yards with my Tikka T-1X 22 LR, ammo used was CCI Std Vel. Rifle is unmodified except for adjusting trigger to 1-1/2 lb pull. The targets were shot using wind flags, the left and center targets were shot during a light left running wind of about 2 to 4 mph, the right-hand group was shot during a calm. The large dark lines are one-inch apart and lighter colored lines are 1/4" apart. All three groups measure right at 1/2" inch center to center - it would have been nice if I had not dropped one a bit low on the left-hand target but I am still happy with the results.

Those will work. I can do that for five shots with my CZ Scouts, but I don't think they'd hold up with 10. Good shootin'!

Those are sweet 22's. Do they make it in a wood stock? .

Those are sweet 22's. Do they make it in a wood stock? . I think that Boyds has wood stocks for them but for a factory wood stock the only option is to find a T-3 take-off, it is my understanding that only minor inletting is required for them to work. drover

Really good shooting! I don’t need another 22 but might have to look into one of these. Have heard and seen nothing but good things about them.

Like someone else said here, I don't need another .22, but if Tikka ever offers a left hand version I'll be all over it. Wind flags, yep. Pursuers of accuracy take note. Paul

Drover: Good for you and for the Tikka folks! That is impressive. Would you let us know how it shoots with some higher velocity hollow-point Hunting type ammunitions? I hope it shoots as well with those if you have any plans on using them. By the way which scope and power do you have on the Tikka? Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Very good groups. Always considered CCI as the bottom in accuracy ammo. Would like to see how it does with a little better ammo. Hasbeen

I expect that a better grade of standard velocity ammo will tighten groups up a bit, I seem to be getting a bit of unexplained vertical out of the CCI Std Vel but for $2.50 per box of 50 I am not complaining about it. I have a portable bench set up on my deck, I stepped out yesterday afternoon when the breeze dropped and shot these three - 5 shot groups at 50 yards. Leupold ,VX-2, 6-18x40mm fine duplex, using of all things a set of $8.99 Weaver rimfire rings (Oh! the horror). I used the Weavers as an interim ring while I had a set of Warnes rimfire rings on order but I am not going to change a thing the way this combo is working. [/url]

Driver - is that the ammo your rifle shows a preference for, or just "good ammo"? I've been curious about the T1x's but hoping they put them out with a walnut stock. I'm cheap so for $200 less I figure I would buy a CZ 455 American in a plastic stock...

I haven't shot anything in it besides CCI S/V which is an entry level ammo but it is generally a good ammo for its moderate cost.
I am seeing T-1X's priced at anywhere from $400 - $450 which is in the same ballpark as CZ 455. I am a wood and blued guy myself but I cannot fault anything about the way the T-1X feels and handles, and with the accuracy it is giving I am coming to like it better all of the time.
