They truly are a bizarre group: It is NOT feasible to round up 20,000,000 illegal aliens, 90% of which do NOT have guns, but we are going to send men to collect ARs from 100,000,000+ CITIZENS that ARE armed, heavily??????

Hard to believe he can describe certain rifles as being of value only on the battlefield and not be aware that it is he who is creating the battlefield. His stance takes him out of the running. She was a gun owner in her home, he shot her dead,,, yes I know he is in trouble but the fact is he killed her for having a gun in her house..and is walking free as I write this
What do you suppose is going to happen when a LE red flag confiscation group meets confrontation?
They will take them at gun point leaving the owner dead or alive. and say they did the right thing...

If The Democrats pass confiscation laws, LE will without hesitation, enforce those laws and "Pay gun owners a visit". Maybe in MN. Not in most other states. Local cops live in the community. People know where they live. Their leadership has to be elected by actual local voters. I think what you will see is that LEOs in democratic majority states will vigorously enforce tyranny, and those in free states will resist, even to the point of local county sheriffs disarming feds operating in their AOs. We will have a patchwork of enforcement, similar to the situation with marijuana today. This is why I live in ID. Not many feds around here, and our political leadership will crap all over any kind of new gun laws, much less forced confiscation.

If RR happened several times a day, people will start shooting back. And if a democrat president declares war on people who own previously legal firearms, you will see no political support for that here in the Gem State.

it is an idea that has now crawled up on the table, and we're hearing it from a low on the list presidential candidate of the opposing party.
it's likely it'll die a dehydrated death when it get's into the main currents for discussion. gov't forcibly taking anything? well, they do eminent domain.
it ain't much about the right and wrong of things anymore. it's all about the vote. the vote is what is undergirding or driving our system in the postmodern.
