I have a Marlin XS7 243 Win caliber that I bought new earlier this year. I'm 87 years old as well and have passed down or designated who gets all my
rifles. I thought I needed this rifle but now my son has provided an A-Bolt for me to use. The Marlin XS7 has a black synthetic stock, good kick pad, a 22 inch barrel, a blind mag and a good trigger. I mounted a 2-7 scope to sight it in which is not included, but a new unused Bushnell 3-9X40 scope is included. Leupold bases and rings will be left on it. It shoots good and I have had no problems with the rifle. The original box and papers, as well as other items in the package will be included.
I will ship from my FFL to your FFL for $320, payable by postal MO.

Ed, it shoots good. I have a target that I had a 3 shot group of .75(3/4 of an inch) at 100 yards when sighting it in. I could text you a picture if interested.
