Looking for some sort of night vision or thermal imaging optics for night time coyote hunting,is there anything in the $500 range ,I saw something on Facebook that mounts on your scope with what looks like a monitor screen and illuminatior for $139 seems to good to be true ,decent reviews shots will mostly inside of 100 yards

Nothing that is worth a damn. Unfortunately, that is an expensive game. The "decent" stuff STARTS at around $1500.00 and the good stuff starts at $2500 or so.

That's the exact reason I still use a red light mounted on top of my scope for predator hunting. Good thermal is pricey but I'm sure well worth it. Maybe one day but if not I still enjoy watching the red eyes coming to the call with a light though. I still call in plenty of coyotes fox and bobcats with the light.

Checkout the Sightmark Wraith (color) or Sightmark Photon (BnW), Both are around $500.00. I have the Photon. No kills yet but it’s fun to play with and will get back to night hunting after deer season. Not comparable to thermal at all but gets you out there for fraction of cost.
