Would if I could. But the junky CDS doesn't return to zero worth a flip and has caused a couple of misses with loopy trajectory 300/221 sub sonics. Verified on paper that it won't work right.

So Super Sniper in the mail and L will come off and go back to factory when I get back to Texas. Plus I can send in the 4-12 that won't adjust anymore and the 2.5-8 that won't focus anymore either.

That said I've sent in 2 of my Zeiss over the year also so it really doesn't matter. Long as they will stand behind product and product works correctly at some point.

RE CT Smith, they do that. The simple way with scopes like that is I just shoot a group, zero to the holes on paper while looking through the scope in a bench vise. Much easier and I always go past the holes a fair amount. Then come back to them. Then thump the scope and also bounce the rifle butt on the ground a few times to somewhat simulate recoil. Once set its usually good.

Dont' have those issues with my Zeiss though

Went through my hunting notes and found I've taken about a quarter of my big game animals with Leupolds. They have included 23 species, ranging in size from pronghorns and springbok to Cape buffalo and Alaskan moose. Here are a couple examples:

Ed, you need to raise your mower deck higher before mowing your bear. Just saying. 😬😎

Gold medal stag. Win M70,a worthless BACO in totally useless caliber 30-06 Spr. Scope is a Leupold VX-3 1.5x5x20 w/ #4 reticle. About 100 meters. As dark as it was in that forest that morning, I had no trouble placing my shot, even with these old 69 year old (at the time) eyes. One shot with a S&B 180 Nosler Partition factory load, straight on in the chest and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. Bullet was recovered in the right ham. RJ

Theres just soooooo much wrong here!

BACO Model 70...seriously? Probably " Assembled in Portugal" where Browning has been assembling their junk for decades...

.30-06....do they still make ammo for those things? I thought 6.5 Creeds were using up all the raw materials....

Oh..I see they do...you used FACTORY AMMO? What is that? Ive never used it. And a Partition is SOOOO yesterday!

Lastly...you should know a Leupy 1.5x 5 isn't going to work in low light conditions...

If you'll step up your game and modernize, you might kill a good stag one day!

Congrats on that one though! laugh
