Hey guys.

I've been working on a 1873 Winchester build and finally getting towards the end but before I send it out for the woodwork I ran into an issue with the carrier. It fails to go up all the way (1/8" or so) but if I give it a gentle push the carrier, it will go up all the way. AND when it goes down it doesn't go down all the way and regardless of force, will not sit flush with the bottom of the barrel.

When the carrier is up, I see the carrier arm hitting the metal showing it's up all the way and the finger lever is fully open, even hitting the frame. When going down the carrier arm appears to be all the way down as well. I put the carrier arm on my press to make sure it didn't have any bends in it (had a very slight curve in the arm). That didn't make any difference. This is my first lever build so curious what anyone with experience thinks.

Thanks for any suggestions. Cheers!
