I have a NIB S-Tac 2-10X32 with plex reticle if you decide to go that way. It's a lot of scope for the money. I run a 3-16 on my FNAR and like it very much.

I looked at buying the Sightron, but at 16 ozs, it took it out of the running.

Bought a SWFA, and returned it, as the eye relief sucked donkey balls.

Ended up buying a Leupold 2x7 for the win........

Have no idea about the s-tac but I do have the little swfa on my left hand 7mm-08 Forbes 20b. Mine has been slightly lightened so the whole set up weighs 5 pounds 9.5 ounces. Took it to the range this weekend for the first time and the scope did touch just above my eye a few times during recoil. Didn’t hurt me but felt it just brush my skin. This was with Hornady 139 grain whitetail ammo. I was shooting without holding onto the forend which probably lets the gun recoil just a little more than normal.

I am also not overly impressed with the view above 8 power. It’s just not super clear. The scope probably should have just been a 2.5-8 and that would solve most of the problems (eye relief, clarity)

One positive is the reticle. It has the bdc reticle and I absolutely live it. Easily visible in low light
