You know tech, Silicon Valley is the only way this state is staying afloat. As more of the middle class flees, the tax burden will fall on to big tech to support the poor influx from Mexico. It’s hard to imagine the liberals at FB, Google, Ebay and Apple, pulling up stakes and ditching CA, but if the tax gap gets so big, and they start to pull out, CA is phuuucked ten times as bad as it is now.

Will the exodus change the 2020 census enough to cause them to loose House seats? Or are there so many illegals and homeless making up the difference?

IME, about 80% of the urban population in CA is made of out of state or out of country transplants. At present, maybe 1 in 10 people in San Francisco that I interact with were actually born there. Should there be a mass exodus of this urban population, I hope they go back to where they came from and trash it, just like they've been doing here for the past 40 years.

If the illegals were not counted toward representation, CA would have 5 or 6 fewer Reps in Congress.
that would be a start.
Same no-count-illegals rule should apply to all states.

The people currently living in california are not cleaning the place up. The millions made by people working in hi-tech are doing nothing to improve the state. I say put up a wall around the state and any other democrat run state. That includes Colorado too.

You are correct regarding the census counting the illegals in order to get more seats. Dems are liars and evil around here. We will soon have illegals on juries. I think that in San Francisco illegals are allowed to vote for some city offices, such as the school board.

State should split up politically although parts of it will eventually split off into the ocean. 3 population centers controlling a massive state, what could possibly go wrong?
