My turkey gun, TC Encore 20ga, has a 26" barrel and 2,25" of choke tube sticking out the front. When I stretch these 80 yr old bones up straight I'm 5'7" and a 28.25" barrel is way too long for me to handle well. I'd like about 6" taken off it and rethread for new choke.
Three Questions: 1. Good idea? 2. How would that effect the shot velocity? 3. Where/by whom could it done?
Thanks Jim
