The nuns furnished some back ground history from my birth mother when I was adopted.
Apparently she smoked a pack a day when she was pregnant.
Smoking stunts birth weight, and can make for smaller children.
She musta known that. I might have been 15 pounds at birth and 7 feet tall by now.

Could not smoke menthols. They were terrible.

We tried to smoke those back in the day.
Could not smoke menthols. They were terrible. Haha i remember at about 12 or 13 a few buddies and i somehow came into partial pack of newport 100s. One day after school we snuck into my parents woods and we each smoked a few. I ended up with an upper respiratory infection and missed a few days of school! Those things are like smoking menthol flavored fiberglass!!!

Oh my that takes me back.
I remember the day that appeared in my hometown paper.
Not only the paper , but the local news took the story and ran.
Sad thing is, I pass through that intersection every time I have to go to the country....
