I have a M-24 savage. 30-30/20 . The question is would it be possible to silver solder a small threaded extension on the 30-30 barrel to mount a suppressor. That is the only way I can think of to mount a suppressor and with my deteriorating hearing I really like to hunt suppressed. Thanks for your input

I certainly wouldn't do it to my gun. Buy a rifle to hunt with and don't ruin the one you have now.
One shot, one kill........ It saves a lot of ammo!

Ummm, what about the 20 gauge barrel? Just not use it ever? If so, then why the combo gun?

Electronic earmuffs would be the answer.
The diameter of the suppressor would put part of it in front of the 20ga barrel so with the 20ga you would shoot into the back of the suppressor.
For the cost of the job if you never use the 20ga you could get a inexpensive break action 30-30

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

Thanks for the responses. It would be nice to be able to screw suppressor on the rifle barrel when deer hunting tho.
I know that since they are no longer made there is some very mild collector interest. Not much though
I guess I will go in another direction.
