Ever so often some askes how to post pictures. This is often followed by a rash of us just posting a picture , and saying there is nothing to it.

I have tried to do a step, by step pictorial, but I'm just flat out not smart enough.

Can someone post a "Ho to"?

Postimage. Free and easy. Create an account or not doesn’t matter.
1. Upload photo page.



2. Once photo is uploaded click on the photo or share button which brings up this page. The highlighted file on the right auto copies the link when tapped.



3. Paste link into reply box on this forum. And you are done.

I been waiting for Hanco to learn how. Then he could tell me. Hasbeen

i gave up and just use imgur.com NOT going to bother with forum privacy route.

On Imgur,

Download the image to your gallery. Click "Add Images"... then select your photo you want to download.



When it downloads there, click on the image. It will pop up.

Choose and click the BBCode link... second from the bottom. (This copies the link to the image)



Come back here, where you want the image, and right click. When the menu pops up, choose "Paste".



You are a Pro now.

I guess I best get off my ass and figure it out.

Now, how about how to post a live link with picture and go arrow to a YouTube video. I've asked before and all I heard was crickets.

You need to go one level further into your picture. I clicked the link in your post. Then I right clicked it to 'open image in new window'. That new window shows a web address of https://i.imgur.com/tGzNCOG.jpg This address is what needs put in the img code of the forum.

No matter where you are hosting your image from:
1. The string of text must start with: [img}
(NOTE: I ended this with "}" where in reality you need to end it with "]")
2. The web link must end in a .jpg
3. The string of text must end in [/img}
(NOTE: I ended this with "}" where in reality you need to end it with "]")

Your string of text should look like below, but replace the } with a ] beginning and end.
[img}https://i.imgur.com/tGzNCOG.jpg[/img}

Another tip, quote somebody that has an image posted, and look at the picture string to see how it is formatted.
