Who’s had one for awhile and shot a thousand + rounds using it? Hold zero? Looking for a simple, zero and forget scope. It will be a 200yd zero on a 338 Fed.

Haven’t had as good of luck with the FXIII as I have with the 6x36. I have a couple of those that probably have about that many rounds of 7mm, 270 and 338 under them. I’ve busted one 6x42 for bad tracking but still own one that is ticking away in a low round count 375 H&H.

I had two or three and they made so many trips back and forth I swore off Leupold.

Thanks. I had a 6x36 I regret selling. Can’t rule that out.

I am annoyed that Leupold has gone to a wide duplex on so many scopes. Ugh.

I mounted one of these scopes today on a 7mm-08 for my nephew to use. The whole time, I thought to myself “this is a mistake.”

It’s the only scope I had on hand with an ocular bell the bolt handle would clear mounted in the ring and base combinations I had to work with.

We’ll see how long it lasts.

I don't always worm with scopes, but when I do, I worm with Leupold > ... grin

The 6x36's have been rock solid. They have the simplest adjustments, but I'll be danged if they don't move the way they are supposed to. Not saying they can't bobble, but for some reason the 36's have worked out better for me. Too bad as the 6x42's are a danged nice scope.

My 6x36 dialed horribly. Each click was a guess. But, once I finally got it set it stayed for the time I had it. No complaints with glass and reticle (LR Duplex).

Disappointed to read some poor reports of the FX3.

I like my FX3 6x42. When I check it, it’s on zero. Season after season. Was easy to sight in too. I don’t subject it to a lot of recoil though. BAR .308. Probably 200 rounds total.

I've had one on my Remington 700 8x57 for the last 929 rounds, and it has worked fine. I've rezeroed it over the years, but only when I've changed loads.

Yeah, the 6x42 with the LR Duplex is a nice scope. Wished it was a bit more robust. Agree about the 6x36 though, they can be hit or miss. Luckily my current ones are fine once zeroed.
