This was ill-timed and stupid. I honestly believe it was done to torpedo Trump's negotiations with China to weaken him during the 2020 elections.
Something as meaningless and utterly ineffective as this resolution, that does no more that slap China in the face for all the world to see, shows that our representatives are morons.
