This is a really nice Marlin 39a manufactured in 1954. Wood and metal is in very good condition. See pics. Screws look like they have never been turned and the receiver finish is 95% plus. The barrel is also very nice except of a small patch about 3" long on the left side just ahead of the forend that has a little rash and thinning blue. It's hard to see in a photo. Wood has a couple of small dings. White spacer on butt plate is cracked, but it is all there. Action is very smooth, bore and crown are mint. This piece is part of an estate I'm helping to sell for a friend, so I've never shot it. A really nice 39a priced like a shooter grade. Price is $425 shipped.
ETA: Price is shipped from my FFL to yours. Must be shipped, no local pick-ups, Questions are welcome, but the first unqualified "I'll take it" gets it.
