I took these pictures in the same general area, the moon at about 4 AM from my backyard, and the owl leaving her nesting tree at about 5 PM in the afternoon from the woods right behind my backyard. Tried similar stuff a couple times with one being the moon behind a big 4by. Don't have that one available at the moment. The other - Alaska's Wrangle Mts with some Oregon snow geese in the foreground. Such are usually easy to spot as one cannot get that much depth of field in a singe exposure.
