That buck sure looks like he was eating well That portion of the ranch had a wildfire burn the grass and underbrush a few years ago. Maybe that fresh brush accounts for his nutrition

Very nice, we killed some in Coleman County that field dressed 200 lb. They grow big in farming country When I was a teenager I hunted dove season a few times near Coleman At Cross Plains, Callaghan County. I remember seeing a very large bodied deer there.
