Navy commanders had begun an administrative process to strip Gallagher of his SEAL status after the president ordered them to cancel his demotion in rank. Rear Adm. Collin Green made his intentions clear at a staff meeting Monday, saying he wanted to remove Gallagher's Trident pin, which designates him as a SEAL. A Big F[U]CK YOU To Adm. Amazing that this types think they want to phous with the CIC. Whether it Trump or Obama, if the CIC has a hot opinion on something, duty and intelligence should prompt you to say "Yes SIR!" and leave it alone. Trying to screw with Gallagher just after he gets a Presidenal pardon is career suicide and/or at the very least stupid. I'm sure Rear Adm Green has been advised by Obama's people.

He already knew Trumps wishes, Green should be relieved of duty. The heat should be applied to Green's immediate supervisor to relieve him of duty, due to loss of confidence. That would also end his career. Green's supervisor would have to chitt or get off the pot as well.

I don’t see president in there. Whether you like it or not Trump is the President and Commander in Chief. In other words he’s the boss and he made his wishes known with regard to Gallagher. Trying to end run the CIC’s wishes in the military is never a career enhancing move.
